Let's sum up the rules!
To form comparative adjectives, we often add -er to an
adjective with one or two syllables and use more with adjectives
of three or more syllables.
We often use than after comparative adjectives.
To form superlative adjectives, we often add -est to an
adjective with one or two syllables and use most with adjectives
of three or more syllables.
We usually use the before superlative adjectives.

定 义:(比较级)用于比较两个人或事物。表示“更……”。
(最高级)用于比较三个人或更多的人或事物。
构成规则:
比较级句式结构:
1)一个音节的形容词和一些两个音节的形容词,使用-er和-est。
2)较长的形容词(三个音节或更多)和一些两个音节的形容词,
前面加more和most。
3)以-y结尾的两个音节形容词,将-y替换为-ier和-iest。
4)一些短形容词需要将最后一个辅音字母双写。

最高级句式结构:
