Healthy Bones
用来修饰动词，形容词，副词以及全句的句子成分，叫做状语（adv.）。
用作状语的通常是副词，介词短语，不定式和从句等。

一、概念
让步状语从句是状语从句中
的一种。一般翻译为“尽
管……即使……”就是我们日
常生活中用的“退一步说……”的感觉。
二、引导词
1.（1）though, although表示“虽然，纵然” 之意。 一般可互换，但不能与but连用 。
Although/Though he is very old, he is quite strong.
She passed the examination though she had not studied very hard.
翻译：尽管他很笨，但是他很努力学习。
（连词）
Although/Though he is stupid, he studies hard.
We will go even if/though it rains.
1. （2）even if=even though 表示“即使……”，“纵使……”之意，含有一种假设。
We’ll go out even if/though the weather is bad.
Even if he is poor, she loves him.
翻译：即使下雨我们也要去。
1. （2）whether...or...表示“不论是否……”，“不管是……还是……”之意。
You'll have to go to the party whether you're free or busy .
Whether you believe it or not, it's true.
翻译： 无论是否下雨我们都要去。
Whether it rains or not, we will go.
2.“no matter+疑问词”或“疑问词-ever” 含义为“无论..”
No matter what happened, he would not mind.
=Whatever happened, he would not mind.
无论发生了什么，他都不会介意的。

Conclusion:让步状语从句可以由以上从属连词引导。
More examples
Whatever (=No matter what) you say, I won’t believe you.

结果状语从句
结果状语从句中 so...that 与such...that 的使用
1.so...that 如此...以至于
so是副词，与形容词或副词连用，
其结构是：so+adj.（adv.）+that
so + adj+a/an +可数名词单数+that从句
eg：
他跑得如此快，我赶不上他。
He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him.
2．such…that… 如此...以至于
such是形容词，它修饰名词或者名词短语。
句型结构可分为以下三种：
①such+a/an（+adj.）+单数可数名词+that从句
eg:
她是如此可爱的一个女孩，我们都喜欢和她玩.
She is such a lovely girl that we all like to play with her.
这是本很有用的字典以至于我想买一本。
This is such a useful book that I want to buy one.
②such（+adj.）+复数可数名词+that从句
eg：
这些问题如此难，以至于我们没有人能回答。
These are such difficult questions that none of us can answer them.
③such（+adj.）+不可数名词+that从句
eg：
天气这么糟糕我们没能按时完成工作。
We had such terrible weather that we couldn't finish the work on time.
