My favourite Chinese traditional festival
Among all the festivals , the Spring Festival is my favorite Chinese traditional festival . Spring Festival , which often falls in January or February , has the special meaning to everyone in China . It is a special time for my family to get together to welcome the coming Chinese New Year .
There are plenty of activities to celebrate the Spring Festival in China . The most important one is our traditional dinner on Chinese New Year ' s Eve . We often make a special food called dumplings , which means " come together ". After dinner , we set off fireworks and watch the special TV programme as well , Another exciting moment is that we give hongbao each other to show our best wishes . What a meaningful festival it is !
In my opinion , Spring Festival is a Chinese cultural feast , which is full of rich traditions and pleasure . I hope everyone can learn more about our Chinese culture from the traditional festivals .
