Chinese people have been celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries. Mooncakes are in the shape of a full moon on the Mid-Autumn
night. They carry people's wishes to the families they love and miss.
Full Moon, Full Feelings
There are many traditional folk stories about
this festival. However, most people think that
the story of Chang'e is the most touching.
Chang'e was Hou Yi's beautiful wife. After Hou Yi shot down the nine suns, a goddess gave him magic medicine to thank him. Whoever took this could live forever, and Hou Yi planned to take if with Chang'e.
Full Moon, Full Feelings
There are many traditional folk stories about this festival.
关于这个节日，有很多的民间故事。
There be 句型三种常用结构:
1.There are+名词复数+地点+其他
如:There are many bookstores in the city.这个城市有很多书店。
2.There is+单数名词/不可数名词+地点+其他
如:There is some important information in the computer.
电脑里有一些重要资料。
3.There will be/is going to be+名词 (将会有/举行)
There will be a concert next week.下周将有一场音乐会。
However, a bad man, Pang Meng, tried to steal the medicine when Hou Yi was not home. Chang'e refused to give it to him and drank it all. She became very light and flew up to the moon. Hou Yi
was so sad that he called out her name to
the moon every night.
然而，后羿不在家的时候，一个坏人庞蒙试图偷药。嫦娥不肯给他，并把药全喝了。她变得很轻，飞到月亮上去了。后羿他非常伤心，他每天晚上对着月亮喊嫦娥的名字。

One night, he found that the moon was so bright and round that he could see his wife there. He quickly laid out her favorite fruits and desserts in the garden. How he wished that Chang'e could come back!
After this, people started the tradition of admiring the moon an sharing mooncakes with their families.
一天晚上，他发现月亮变得又亮又圆，他可以看到他的妻子。他很快把她最喜欢的水果和甜点摆在花园里。他多么希望嫦娥能回来！
从此，开始了赏月和家人分享月饼这样的一个传统。

宾语从句( Objective Clauses )
1.在复合句中，由一个句子充当宾语,这个句子叫作宾语从句。
引导宾语从句的常见关联词有that, if, whether, what, who, where, why和how等。
1.Mary thinks (that) the teams were just fantastic.
玛丽觉得这几个队伍非常出色。
2.I think (that) Halloween is a fun festival.
我认为万圣节是一个有趣的节日。

从句要用陈述句语序。

1.I don't know whether he will come or not tomorrow.
我不知道他明天是否会来。
2.I don't know whether people will buy it or not.
我不知道是否会有人买。
3.I don't know whether to hate or pity him.
我不知道该恨他，还是该同情他。
4.由一般疑问句充当宾语从句时，从句由if或whether引导，且从句要用陈述句语序。如果和or not连用，则只能用whether,不能用if。

5.宾语从句是特殊疑问句时，疑问词when,who, what,where等充当引导词。疑问词不能省略，从句要用陈述语序。

6.在宾语从句当中，如果主句是一般过去时，从句一般用对应的过去时态。

7.如果宾语从句是客观真理或自然现象，即便主句是一般过去时，宾语从句仍然要用一般现在时。
1.what引导的感叹句
What+ (a/an) +形容词+名词+ (主谓+其他) !
①What a beautiful birthday present it is!
多美的生日礼物啊!
②What a beautiful girl she is!
她是一个多么漂亮的女孩！
二、感叹句结构
1.感叹句是表示赞美、惊叹、喜悦等感情的句子。感叹句通常由what和how引导。what修饰名词，how修饰形容词或副词。
2.how 引导的感叹句结构
How+形容词/副词+（主谓+其他）！
①How wonderful the music is!
多么美妙的音乐啊！
②How fine the weather is!
多么好的天气呀！
