★句型no matter how... 意为“不管如何”,在此引导让步状语从句,相当于however。类似的还有whatever / no matter what,whoever / no matter who,whenever / no matter when等,均可引导让步状语从句。

无论工作多难,他总是能准时完成。
No matter how hard the work is, he always finishes it on time.

double v. 加倍;是......的两倍 adj. 两倍的;加倍的
(1) double在此处为不及物动词,意为“加倍;是......的两倍”。它还可作及物动词,其后可直接跟宾语。
The price of rice doubled this year.
The manager doubled my pay.
(2) double还可作形容词,意为“两倍的;加倍的”。
My colleague is off today, so I have to do double work.

shall在此处用作情态动词,意为“将要;将会”,通常与第一人称连用。其过去式为should。
