一、
指导思想与理论依据。
高中英语课程标准中明确提出,“高中英语课程的总目标是使学生在义务教育阶段英语学习的基础上,进一步明确英语学习的目的,发展自主学习和合作学习的能力;形成有效的英语学习策略;培养学生的综合语言运用能力。”这一课的教学也正是遵循着这个原则,以教材中的文字材料为载体,引导学生通过分析和归纳,注重培养学生自主学习和合作学习的能力,同时也注意学生在语言技能、语言知识、情感态度和学习策略各方面的整合发展。
二、教材分析
选修模块八第24单元以“社会”为贯穿主线,内容涵盖了人们在发达社会的各种消费观,人类对美好“乌托邦”社会的愿望,北京独特的“胡同”历史文化以及我们社会犯罪量刑轻重的讨论等热点和敏感问题。
本课是选修模块八第24单元第一课,课题为Consumer
Society。文章主要介绍消费圈(Spending
Circle)中的普通消费(Average
Spending)、理财消费(Financial
Spending)和信贷消费(Credit
Spending)的利弊。人们对消费型社会提出的不同主张以及我们树立正确的消费观。

教学背景分析
1、学情分析
本课是高中选修模块八的最后一单元,授课对象为高二学生。经过必修六个模块英语课程的学习,学生英语已经有了一定的英语基础,大部分学生能在老师的鼓励下进行自主探究、合作交流,完成课堂活动,并能够自信地用英语表达自己的观点,具有一定的批判性思维。
2、教学方式、手段和技术准备的说明
本课主要以任务型学习(Task-based
Learning
Strategies)模式为主,采
用互动模式(IP=Interactive
Pattern),各个教学环节中主要采用下列方法。

教学辅助工具 教学过程将结合电子白板、多媒体课件PPT和学案。幻灯片不多,主要针对不同层次的学生,呈现学习中的任务,旨在帮助学生分解学习任务、使事件之间的逻辑关系有更加直观的理解。
四、教学目标
语言是人类最重要的思维和交流工具。高中英语新课标中提到,“根据高中学生认知能力发展的特点和学业发展的需求,高中英语课程应强调在进一步发展学生综合语言运用能力的基础上,着重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力”。因此,结合本课以阅读理解为侧重点,且话题具有很强的现实性、时代性和普遍性,教师将本节课的教学目标设定为:
1、知识目标
本课结束时,学生能够
分析消费圈的构成因素并能评价利弊。
2、技能目标
练习各种阅读技能。
3、情感态度
树立正确的消费观。

九、教学反思
本课时教学设计以任务型学习为主导,通过完成系列任务强化对课文的理解。教师首先提出问题,导入消费型社会这一主题;通过预测课文内容,调动学生的阅读兴趣。把文字材料中的“消费圈”用图画展示出来,并展开批判性评论,由抽象到具体,由浅入深、层层推进学生的阅读任务。通过对比不同派别对消费社会的主张,以及丰富多彩的对话练习,学生最终形成自己的情感态度和价值观。语言点的学习是通过课文浓缩,既强化本课的重点词和短语,又回顾了文章主要内容,为本节课划上完美句号。本文的语法学习是通过节选文章中的原句进行句型改错,培养学生敏锐的洞察力,激活学生已经学过的语法规则,为学生下一节课的语法专项学习进行了铺垫。
