二、课文核心句型
1. Mrs. Smith's kitchen is small.（史密斯夫人的厨房很小。）—— 用于描述物品的特征（大小）。
2. There is a refrigerator in the kitchen. The refrigerator is white. It is on the right.（厨房里有一台冰箱。这台冰箱是白色的，它在右边。）—— 前半句用 “There be” 句型表 “存在”，后半句分别描述物品的颜色和位置。

三、语法
1. There be 句型
含义：某地有某物 / 某人，表示存在。
结构：
There be + 主语
There is + 可数名词单数 / 不可数名词
There are + 可数名词复数
就近原则：be 动词的形式由离它最近的名词的单复数决定。
2. 冠词
①不定冠词：a、an
用法：在说 “一个” 东西时，名词 / 形容词是以 a、e、i、o、u 开头且不发 /ju:/ 音时，用 “an”，例如 an umbrella、an old man。
②定冠词：the
用法：
1. 双方都明白的人或者是物。
2. 上文提到的人或物。
3. 世上独一无二的事物，例如 the sun（太阳）、the moon（月亮）、the world（世界）。
练习：冰箱里有一个瓶子。那个瓶子是空的。
There is a bottle in the refrigerator. The bottle is empty.
练习：床上有一件大衣。那件大衣是 Tom 的。
There is a coat on the bed. The coat is Tom's.
练习：她就是那个护士。
She is the nurse.
练习：天空是蓝色的。
The sky is blue.
练习：地球是我的家。
The earth is my home.
