Is it possible to have a diet(日常饮食)that's both healthy and friendly to our planet Here are answers to your eco-friendly food questions.
Does what I eat influence climate(气候)change
Yes. The world's food system is responsible for(为…负责)about one quarter of the planet-warming greenhouse gases that humans produce each year. That includes raising and harvesting all the plants, animals, and animal products we eat, as well as processing, packaging, and shipping food to markets all over the world.
Which foods have the largest influence
In general, beef and lamb have the biggest climate footprint per gram of protein while plant-based foods like beans, rice, corn and wheat have the smallest influence. Pork, chicken, eggs are somewhere in the middle.
Is there a simple food choice I can make
Studies have shown that people who eat a meat-heavy diet can reduce their food-related footprint by one third or more by moving to a vegan diet — no meat, dairy(乳制品), or eggs. If you don't want to go that far, just eat less meat.
Can I really make a difference to our planet
We need more food to feed the world's growing population. One person alone can make only a tiny difference. If many people make changes to their diets, that will start to add up. It will make a greater difference if the world's heaviest meat eaters make some changes to their diets.
24. According to the passage, which foods have the smallest influence on our planet
A. Beef and lamb. B. Rice and corn. C. Chicken and pork. D. Beans and beef.
25. According to the passage, which of the following is TRUE
A. One person alone makes no difference to our planet.
B. Shipping food a lover the world has no influence on climate change.
C. All the planet-warming greenhouse gases come from the food system.
D. Meat eaters can reduce their food-related footprint by eating less meat.
26. What is the best title for the passage
A. How to produce more meat B. How to make more plant-based foods
C. How to eat better for the planet D. How to ask eco-friendly food questions

You may feel that math is difficult and boring. Is it possible that you've been looking at math in the wrong way Li Xing, a math professor at Ning Xia University, thinks math can be beautiful and fun. I completely agree with what he said.
Numbers are beautiful
There is math hidden in beautiful human bodies. Measure (测量)the length from your head to your belly button and from your belly button to your feet. The ratio (比例)of these two numbers is always around 0.618. This is the golden ratio, which can be seen everywhere, like in nature, music and paintings.
In Chinese poems, we can also see the beauty of numbers. As Li Bai wrote, “My skiff (小船) has left ten thousand mountains far away”, “A thousand miles in one day”,- all these numbers show how fast Li Bai traveled and how happy he felt.
Curves(曲线)are beautiful
“Sine curves” are beautiful. They go towards the two opposite directions on and on without ever ending. When you look at them, you may feel like standing by the sea and watching the waves slowly moving. “Tangent curve" is like a waterfall, just as Li Bai wrote, “dashing (猛冲) down three thousand feet from on high ”.
Formulas (公式) are beautiful
There are some amazing formulas. In a right-angled triangle (直角三角形), the square of the longest side is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. How amazing! Just as Chinese-American mathematician Chern Shingshen said,“Math is fun!”
27.If the ratio of a thing is around 0.618, .
A. it has a golden color B. it only happens in human bodies
C. it looks like a human body D. it might bring people a sense of beauty
28.Why does the writer mention Li Bai and his poems in the passage
To introduce the topic. B. To support his opinion.
C. To share the beauty of Li Bai's poems. D. To offer advice on learning math.
29. What does a tangent curve look like
30. What is the passage mainly about
A. Why math is beautiful and fun. B. Why math is difficult and boring.
C. How we can learn math in a right way. D. How math helps us live a better life.

As we all know, there are 12 animal signs representing 12 lunar years in Chinese culture. The year 2025 is just the Year of the Snake. However, an archaeological(考古的)discovery has given people a new understanding of the 12 animal signs.
A video about the discovery shows a mural(壁画)from the Weishan Tomb(墓)in Hunan Province. There are 12characters with animal heads and human bodies dressed in ancient clothes. These heads represent 12 different animals. However, unlike the modern animal signs, this version (版本) doesn’t include the snake. Instead, a cat takes its place! Some people humorously wrote under the video, “perhaps those born in the Year of the Snake were actually born in the Year of the
Cat,”
The mural is on display in Yuelu Academy of Hunan University. A worker from the academy said, “This appears to be an ancient version of the 12 animal signs, different from the modern one. The details are still under research. The exact time period of the mural remains unknown.”
In fact, besides the absence of the snake, the order of the 12 animal signs is also different from that of the modern ones. According to a professor from Hunan University, the modern animal signs formed during the Song Dynasty. Before the Song Dynasty, the customs of different areas and ethnic groups (民族) influenced the culture of animal signs, which also proves that the mural might have been created before the Song Dynasty. It may date back to the period of the late Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties, around 1.300 years ago.
