  In the journey of learning, realizing that we might be wrong is not just modest(谦虚的).It actually helps us explore and understand more. This way of thinking makes us study further and pursue for the truth with an open mind. But does it help us in other ways besides learning facts? Researchers have studied how the students can improve the study habits and how well they do in school.
Students who accept that their ideas could be wrong are more likely to learn actively. They don’t just ask questions, try things out, or check if they understand correctly. This helps them find gaps(差距) in their knowledge, which makes them study harder and build a strong base for future learning. Being open to making mistakes also helps with studying and taking tests. These students learn to organize information, use their time wisely, and use memory skills to remember key ideas. Importantly, they see challenges and mistakes as chances to grow. A long-term study of high school students showed that those who were more modest not only got better grades but also solved school problems better.
On the other hand, students who think they know everything might get lazy, skipping important steps like thinking carefully. When they face problems in the exams, they often find out too late that they don’t understand things well.
  Admitting(承认) we might be wrong isn’t a weakness. It’s a way to learn smarter. As my parents said wisely, “Everyone fails sometimes, but growth comes from keeping trying and learning from our failures.” By having a mindset that welcomes challenges and accepts the possibility of being wrong, we can understand subjects better and develop a lifelong love for learning and personal growth.

●How did you learn English yourself?
I started learning English when I was about six or seven years old. A new language school opened near my home. I started attending classes twice a week. I enjoyed these classes. During my teenage years,I attended several international youth meetings. I also went to Australia as an exchange student. I learned a lot from communicating with native English speakers.
●What’s the best part of teaching English for you?
