设计理念 基于逆向设计的思路,从建构单元大观念“从感知中逐步理解中外节日的意义,通过习俗的变迁,思考传统节日演变背后所体现的时代发展趋势,从而把握文化的精神内核,向世界舞台传播中华民族优秀传统文化”出发,通过分析、重组、补充 语篇,提炼小观念即(感知节日文化的多样性、理解节日所承载的意义,正确看待传统节日习俗变迁问题,传播中华民族优秀传统节日文化 ),从而明确各语篇目标,然后进行单元整体教学设计设计,通过多元评价,让大观念以及核心素养在学生学习以及完成作业过程中具体化、可培养、 可干预、可评价。单元整体安排如下图所示。 本课时的设计理念基于小观念“正确看待传统节日习俗变迁问题”进行开展。活动安排具有层级性,按照学习理解---应用实践---迁移创新的梯度引导学生达成小观点及课时目标,针对每一活动的开展都设置了相应的评价任务,从而达到教学评一体化。
单元主题 Unit 2“Let’s celebrate”聚焦节日, 单元主题语境为“人与社会”涉及的主题语境内容是中外不同民族文化习俗与传统节日。通过整合以及重组单元语篇,从感知、理解、挖掘、思考、传播等不同层次下,由浅即深逐渐加深对学生对节日的认知,本单元导入部分,引导学生“感知节日文化的多样性”从介绍世界各地的不同节日引入话题。第一篇文章引导学生理解节日的精神内核,呈现与圣诞节有关的文学作品。第二篇文章引导学生通过讨论春节团圆饭在外面吃还是在家吃的话题,引导学生关注中国传统文化习俗变迁的问题,让学生理解习俗变迁是时代发展的必然结果,虽然不能改变这一趋势,但能够在习俗的变迁之中将优秀的文化精神传承下来。基于大观念进行单元整体教学设计,让学生感知节日文化的多样性, 理解节日承载的意义,正确看待传统习俗变迁的问题,从而积极传播中华民族优秀传统节日文化 。
主题语境 人与社会—中外不同民族文化习俗与传统节日
内容分析 What: 本语篇是两封写给报纸专栏的读者来信,信中呈现了两位人物Wang Peng 和Liu Yonghui, 他们年龄与职业均不相同,阐明这两人年夜饭在哪里吃的两种不同看法.年轻的软件工程师读者认为在外吃年夜饭为忙碌的上班人群提供了便利,吃什么和在哪里吃都不影响与家人的团聚。而退休的教师则选择在家吃,认为一家人一起准备年夜饭的过程是最珍贵的回忆。 Why: 引发学生思考传统习俗变迁的问题,通过讨论变与不变,引导学生正确看待节日习俗的改变,从时代发展趋势出发,明确改变的是形式,不变的是节日所蕴含的精神内核,引导学生重视传统节日的精神。 How: 文章体裁为议论文,首段说明观点即年夜饭出去吃或在家吃,中间部分进一步阐释原因从而使观点具有说服力,尾段进行总结,概括观点。
学情分析 【已有基础】学生对于基本词汇,语法等有一定的了解和掌握。对于阅读的话题是比较感兴趣的,具备相关背景知识。在阅读技能方面,有一定的预测能力,具备在阅读中获取细节信息的基本能力。 【存在障碍】学生英语基础相对薄弱。对于文本信息只能简单获取,浅层理解,在分析原因以及探究主题意义方面的能力有待提高。此外在表达观点,陈述事实的能力仍需加强。 【发展需求】通过文本学习,识别语篇体裁,提高阅读语篇的理解能力。教师可以在单元整体大观念的指导下,带领学生更深入地探讨时代变迁下传统节日背后的深意,并且从不同的角度深入思考,实现语言知识与思维能力的迁移。
