教学目标：
1.能够在图片和录音的帮助下，运用扫读、跳读和细读等方法读懂邀请函并理解邀请函的意义，掌握邀请函的基本结构。
2.能够根据设定的情景，并运用核心语言I will...来制定计划，设计邀请函。
3.能够通过头脑风暴、小组合作等方式来开展合作学习，通过对比分析中外节日活动及文化差异，发展批判思维能力。
4.通过小组合作讨论成员们喜爱的节日并制作邀请函，加深学生对节日的认识和热爱。
教学重点：
1.能够听、说、认读单词或短语: game, riddle, act, act out, RSVP, by。
2.运用寻找关键词，抓关键信息的阅读方法读懂邀请函。
3.能够借助图片正确理解邀请函的内容，并完成相应的练习，在有意义的语境中书写句子I’ll...。
教学难点：
能够根据设定的情景，参考例词，仿写一份邀请函。
教学准备：
1.预习本课时的相关内容。
2.PPT课件、课文录音、视频等。
3.学生准备本课时练习清单和评价表。
教学过程：
Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
1. Greetings.
2. Lead-in.
（1）Sing a song“The twelve months”.
T:What is the song about
Ss:The song is about months and birthday.
T:When is your birthday

（2）Free talk
T:Boys and girls,there are so many festivals.You can use the sentences“When is... It’s in...”talk about months and festivals with your partner.Begin!
T:Time is up.Which group can show us

设计意图：在复习活动中,通过呈现节日活动图片，利用“—When is… —It’s in…”句型复习本单元学过的关于月份和节日的单词。
Step 2: Presentation
Pre-reading
1. Learn the text.
（1）Show an invitation:
T: Look,this our friend Robin!Robin wants to give us something.Let’s have a look,what is it (课件出示:邀请函文本内容)
Ss: B.It’s an invitation.
T:Yes,it’s Robin’s English party’s invitation.
While-reading
（2）Read and answer:
T:Boys and girls,Let’s read and answer.How many parts are there in the invitation What are they
Ss:When Where What RSVP
（3）Read and answer:
Slient reading. Then think about three questions:
①When is the English party
②Where will the party be
③What will they do in the party？
设计意图：在读中环节，让学生通过自主阅读，回答when, where, what三个方面的问题，快速了解文本大意，同时明白邀请函该如何书写，并在阅读文本的过程中掌握一些新词，扫清阅读障碍。
（4）Read and underline.What will you do You will...
Learn “play games、read riddles、act out stories、meet Robin”.
(Write down “play games,read riddles, act out stories” on the blackboard.)
（5）Learn “RSVP”.
T:The last part is RSVP,the RSVP means A or B
Ss:B.
T:How did you know that
Ss:Will you come to the party Please send an email by 23rd.
T:So RSVP means replay.
RSVP is the short from of “Répondez s'il vous pla t”(法语).（课件展示）
(Write down “RSVP” on the blackboard.)
（6）Read and tick or cross. (课件出示:Read and tick or cross练习)
Students read and circle the information about the English party and finish the exercises.
T：This time,please take out your worksheet.Read and tick or cross.

设计意图：运用思维导图呈现三个问题(when, where, what)和关键词，让学生根据思维导图进行复述。通过捕捉关键词、复述文本，完成对文本的深层次理解。
2. “What will you do if you have a birthday party ”
（1）Discuss.
The teacher asks the question “What will you do if you have a birthday party ”. Students discuss freely.
Ss: I will…
（2） Look and say.
The teacher presents the words and the phrases on worksheet and ask several students to share their ideas.
（3）Think and write.
Students write three sentences with “I will…” on the worksheet. Then read them out in the class.
设计意图：读后活动是根据提示并模仿所学内容，自己写一份生日请柬。旨在操练“I will…”句型，表达自己将会做什么。
Step 4: Consolidation & Extension
T：Now let’s write an invitation.There are many festivals.Do you have parties on these festivals before Today we’re going to write an invitation for the party.Let me show you how to do it!（播放制作邀请函视频）
