Today, the caves are just as international as they were at the time when people travelled the Silk Road. Tourists from all over the world visit Dunhuang to see the caves, and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles has even reproduced a copy of the caves and paintings for people to admire in America.

In order to encourage the students to take outdoor exercise, our school organized a mountain-climbing activity on January 10th.
It was a nice day. Hundreds of the students took part in it. At 8:00 am, all students gathered at the foot of Daming Mountain and set off for the top in high spirits. All the way they were chatting, singing and laughing, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. About three hours later, all of them reached the top.

Write a news report
To call on people to love the Great Wall and protect our cultural relics, an activity was organised by the Green Love Union on July 30th.
The students who participated in it met at the school gate at 7 o'clock and then went to the Great Wall. On arriving there, they picked up the litter along the Great Wall. Moreover, a speech given by a student made tourists know more about protecting cultural relics.
This activity was surely a great success. It not only aroused more students' interest in protecting the Great Wall ,but also made more people realize the importance of protecting other cultural relics.
