John： We learned about he Dragon Boat Festival . To do the research , we searched for information online and visited a local museum about culture and customs. We’ve learned a lot about the festival. With a history of about 2,000 years, the Dragon Boat Festival falls on the 5th day of the fifth lunar month. People usually celebrate it by watching boat races. Zongzi is the most traditional food that is eaten to honor the great poet Qu Yuan.
Next, we plan to learn how to make zongzi, and produce an English video to make the festival known by more people around the world.

The Mid--Autumn Festival is an important traditional festival in China. It’s a time when families come together to enjoy the full moon and eat mooncakes . In fact, besides these two traditions , there are many others.
In ancient times, watching the tide(潮) on the Qiantang River in Zhejiang Province was another great event of the Mid-Autumn Festival. It had been recorded in detail(详细) since the Han Dynasty. Many famous ancient poets, like Su Shi in the Song Dynasty , wrote about it in their poems.
