Therefore, we humans must protect animals and plants to grow up with us together. Currently, many animals are extinct because there are many reasons that make them live in short life such as being killed for people's collections or by stronger animals, pollution, natural disasters, the changes of weather. Therefore, many people are doing more work to help, take care, protect and prevent animals from being extinct.

More facts about the migratory animals
The Siberian Cranes nest in western Siberia and migrate to India. Their plumage is pure white, except for some wing feathers, which are black. The eastern populations migrate during winter to China while the western population migrates in Iran, India and Nepal during winter.
Salmon migrate from the Pacific Ocean or the Atlantic Ocean to the rivers where they are born every year. If calculated, the journey made by salmon can reach more than 1,000 kilometers. Many scientists say that the salmon migration is the heaviest migration in the animal kingdom.
Killer whales migrate up to 7,000 miles roundtrip. Their skin is often colored with a yellow algae (海藻). Scientists think they swim to warmer water to slough off dead skin cells. Even killer whales need a little spa treatment now and then.

The monarch butterfly, which lives in America, is probably one of the most well-known butterflies on earth. It has a famous name "Monarch Butterfly". It is widely said that the dazzling orange wings of this butterfly reminded European colonists who first arrived in North America of the Prince of Orange (later King William III of England), hence the name "Monarch Butterfly".

3.A team of scientists led by Professor Eli Shlizerman at the University of Washington has now found the answer. They have found out that the monarch is able to tell the time of day. It uses its eyes to measure the position of the sun. These two pieces of information - the time of day and the point where the sun is in the sky - allow the butterfly to determine the way to go. Eventually, it manages to reach the places where it will spend the winter.
