24.细节理解题。根据第三段“Even the tallest mountains have worn down;
none are as tall as they were 1,000 years ago. And much like a rock. I’ve found
my attitude has softened and my desire to better understand others has
expanded with each trip around the sun.
You can fit
more rounded rocks in a jar than those with sharp edges. The former look for
ways to adjust and make room for others; the latter never give an inch to

根据第四段中的 “after decades of the waters of life coursing
over me, my edges are softer and more understanding. I'm less likely to judge
and more interested in learning how we can exist together(历经数十年 “生命

故选 D 项。
Two years ago, while traveling in the Pacific
Northwest, I watched a restaurant owner ask a guy to leave for not falling in
line with the rules. Not forceful and net rude. On the door read a sign: “Please
wear a mask before entering our restaurant. We don’t like it either, but let’s all
do what we can.” But the guy tried to argue about the note.

What’s more, the benefits were consistent across
different types of art—whether it was painting, dancing, or making music—and
across diverse populations, suggesting that the magic lies in the shared
experience of creating together.
Art interventions are accessible,
cost-effective, and enjoyable,” said Dr. Jones, the study’s senior author. “They
offer a way to address mental health challenges that doesn’t rely only on
medication or traditional therapy.”

natural knowledge about other people and suggest ways of integrating that
故选 A 项。
Specifically, babies on Zoom watched a series
of videos of simple animated shapes moving around the screen — similar to a
video game. The shapes’ actions simulated human behavior and
decision-making through the retrieval (检索) of objects on the screen and other
movements. Similarly, the scientists built and trained learning-driven AI
models and tested the models’ responses to the exact same videos.(具体来说,

decades-old measurement for evaluating the nature of babies’ knowledge.
A human baby’s foundational knowledge
is limited, abstract, and reflects our evolutionary inheritance (进化遗传), yet it
can accommodate any context or culture in which that baby might live and

participation(大众参与)为固定搭配。
词 a。
4. that/which 考查定语从句。
5. have become
focusing on ...”
式为 truly(真正地)。

66. One possible version:
Good morning, my fellow students. As we stand at the threshold of senior
year, a question lingers in my mind: what drives us through these challenging
senior three days For me, it’s the dream of becoming an environmental
engineer, one who designs sustainable solutions for cities drowning in pollution.
Never will I forget the day when I witnessed a river, once clear, turned filthy by
industrial waste—a scene that planted this dream in my heart.
To make it come true, I’ve mapped out concrete steps. First, mastering core
subjects like chemistry and geography is a must, with every textbook note
sorted by topic to deepen understanding. What’s more, I spend weekends
reading environmental journals and recording insights from scientific articles,
which not only broadens my horizons but also keeps me updated on
cutting-edge technologies.
Dreams without action are just fantasies. Let’s charge forward, for youth
never waits. Many thanks for your attention!
She asked loudly, “Who did you say you’re buying for ” I repeated firmly,
“For my mom. She’s going on a spring outing tomorrow.” The woman stared at
me in disbelief, then a warm smile spread across her face. “Oh, dear! Your mom
must be so happy!” she exclaimed. The people around started whispering, their
eyes filled with admiration. I felt a strange sense of pride welling up inside me.
Suddenly, I realized how special it was that my mom still had the enthusiasm
for a spring outing, just like a child. I no longer felt annoyed or impatient.
Instead, I was looking forward to seeing the joy on her face when she received
the bread.
The woman ahead of me turned around and asked me to go first. “You
should get the bread to your mom as soon as possible,” she said with a kind
smile. Touched by her kindness, I thanked her sincerely. When I finally held the
bag of coconut bread in my hands, I couldn’t wait to get home. On my way
back, I imagined my mom’s happy expression at the spring outing with the
delicious bread. I called her and told her I was on my way. Her excitement over
the phone made me smile. I knew that this simple act of buying bread had not
only fulfilled her wish but also taught me to cherish every moment that brought
her happiness.

And what makes me laugh is not the jokes themselves but how out-of-date they
seem now. They tell us a lot about how differently people saw things in those

W: Thank you all for coming. To the rest of the world, Frank Delmont
is an award-winning novelist, but to those of us here, he’s a member of our
community. I’ve known Frank for a long time—ever since I hired him! Did you
know he wrote his first book, Agents of Coincidence, while he was employed at
this very library I remember seeing him hard at work in the break room,
making notes on a draft while he ate. So it came as no surprise that the book
was a hit! And Frank could have used his new fame as an opportunity to move
to a larger city, but instead he stayed in Mansfield and helped start the Writer’s
Workshop, a summer program for teen authors. It’s in its thirteenth year.
Graduates of the program have gone on to distinguished universities all over the
