M11 Unit2 Getting a job 写作课教学案例
一、课程设计背景及简介
根据《英语教学大纲》对于写作的规定,高中学生应能就已学课文的内容作简单的改写,我确定如下教学设计:Reading(2)的设计是在学生已经通过Reading?学习了跟求职有关的词汇,短语和句型,了解了how to succeed in job interviews。本堂课的主要任务是要求学生根据所给的图片谈论现在大学生毕业之后就业的严峻形势,使得学生对本单元的话题产生兴趣。热身过后,引导学生复习好上一课时学到的有关准备面试的一些建议,并通过我自己根据教材改写的阅读练习帮助学生巩固所学知识,并能总结归纳出建议信的基本结构。利用对这些知识的复习,根据学生的实际情况创设一个语境,要求学生通过小组讨论的形式给自己要参加英语演讲比赛的朋友提出适当建议,并做出口头的report,最终根据收集的这些建议完成一篇建议信的写作。
这堂课我采用的是让学生自主探究合作的形式,这种模式是以新课程标准的精神为教学理念,符合学生的认知规律和英语教学原则,既能提高学生的英语水平和写作能力,又能培养学生的合作意识和创新精神。
二、学生情况分析
我所任教的是高三文科班,英语基础参差不齐。经过了高中两年的学习,他们已经掌握了一定的英语知识,包括写作中要用到的基本词汇、语法和句型结构。而且,他们用英语获取信息和处理信息的能力大大提高了,大部分的学生思维活跃,学习英语很有热情,而且通过平时教学中的小组活动,学生们已经习惯了这种合作互助的学习方式,成绩好的学生和成绩稍微落后的学生互相搭配、互相帮助,团队配合得很好,这样能促使全体学生都参与活动,调动他们的积极性,在师生互动、生生互动中逐一落实教学任务和目标。
三、教学目标
1. Enable the students to master the useful words and phrases of the passage by reviewing the contents and structure of?Tips for job interview
2. Enable the students to give some tips and write a letter of advice by reading, discussing, speaking
3. Enable the students to learn to use the structures of giving advice and master the structure of the advice letter.
四、教学策略
1.?教学方法:以学生为主体的自主探究合作学习
学生在教师的引导和帮助下,以学生为主体,充分发挥小组学习、全班学习的群体作用,在合作中学习,丰富语言积累,培养学生主动探究、团结协作的精神。学生在小组活动中从事学习活动,通过同伴之间的相互作用和交流,完成老师布置的任务,促成他们的认知和情感目标的共同提高。
2.?教学辅助手段:电子白板、课件
电子白板能展示教师制作的课件,增强教学的直观性,增加课堂教学的趣味性,使教学步骤紧凑,信息输入量大;投影仪能将学生的文章直接展示出来,方便老师及时讲解,实现高效课堂。

五、教学过程

?T: Since so many people want to get a job, it’s not easy for us to get a good one if we don’t make full preparations for the job interview. Do you want to make yourselves outstanding in the interview? Then, how can you leave a good impression on the interviewers? Luckily, we have learned some useful tips in the last period. Let’s review them.

Step 3. Consolidation

When your application is successful you’re asked to go for an interview. The purpose of the interview is not only to see whether you?1________?the position or not, but also to provide opportunity for you to find out more about the job.

??? In order to improve the students’ ability to speak English, our school is going to hold a school-wide English speech contest. I’m glad that many students wish to take the good chance to practice their English, and here I have some advice for you to do better in the speech contest.

六、教学反思
??这堂课的所采用的教学方法和进行的教学活动的设计都充分体现了以教师为主导,学生为主体的教学原则。通过复习这一环节加深对所学知识的印象,学生基本都掌握了Tips for job interview?这一课中的有关求职的有用的短语和表达,总结归纳出了写建议信的句型以及文章结构,并通过阅读、讨论、报告以及写作等多种活动方式的练习,绝大部分学生都成功地写出了一篇完整的建议信,基本达成了预设的教学任务的目标。
因为这堂课的所有的设计我都是遵循由易到难,循序渐进的方式,整体设计的主流也就是从短语到句子,再到段落,最后生成的是一篇完整的文章,也正是这样这节课才收到了水到渠成的效果。所以,我相信,只要做好了充分的铺垫,写作对于学生并不是一件很难的事。
