Unit 6 Communication Workshop
教材分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》九年级全一册教材第6单元的Communication Workshop部分。本单元的话题为姚明、我们生活中的人们、史蒂夫.乔布斯。在本单元16、17、18课学生通过阅读和听力活动进行了相关内容的语言学习和初步应用。前三个输入课的学习,学生获取了篮球明星姚明和苹果公司的合作创始人史蒂夫.乔布斯 的人生轨迹和他们成就自己事业的过程。同时获取了Bella、Adam和Lily 三人心目中的榜样的相关信息。在本课,学生要综合运用所获取的相关词汇及语言信息和范文信息以书面形式介绍并评价自己的榜样。
本课的文体是人物介绍。内容为描述我的榜样。文章结构分为三部分,第一部分介绍我的榜样是谁,他/她的性格特征是怎样的?第二部分举例说明他/她为什么是我的榜样,第三部分是我对榜样的评价。此话题贴近学生生活,是学生较为熟悉的话题。本课的教学设计分为两课时,第一课时引导学生通过阅读获取与写作相关的语言信息,帮助学生关注文章结构和语言表达,通过小组合作的方式,讨论完善写作提纲。
在第二课时,引导学生独立完成写作,进行写作自评和互评,引导学生学会欣赏他人作品。学生根据评价表,修改文章。最后,学生和同伴在写作的基础上,展开关于对生活中的榜样的讨论和交流。

学习内容:阅读Kylie的故事获取有关她的好榜样的信息;
阅读:通过使用不同的阅读策略,获取文本主要信息,关注文章结构和目标语言;
写作:模仿范文结构,完成写作提纲内容、据提纲进行写作,进行评价和修改;
口语表达:介绍自己的榜样并评价。
