Mount Tai, lying in Shandong Province, is one of the Five Great Mountains that have a special place in Chinese culture and has been loved by people for over 3,000 years. There are steep rocks, old pine trees, and paths that lead up to the top. Along these paths, you can find old places where emperors once came to pray. There are also stone carvings which tell stories of people who visited long ago.
Paper-cutting is a traditional art that people have loved for thousands of years. There are red paper cuttings whose patterns often include animals, flowers, or characters. Other artworks are often used on occasions when people celebrate festivals. What makes paper-cutting special is that it uses simple materials which almost everyone can find.
