Step 1 Warm-up and revision

(1) Watch a cartoon about food
(2) What food did you see in the cartoon?
3. Classify the words (Section B -1b):
Vegetables, fruit, other food.
4. Ask and answer (show the picture of food):

(T asks one question, then guide Ss ask and answer)
Step 2 Presentation
1. Guess : What do I like best?
(Note: Teacher tries to give the reasons about
the food teacher likes.

(1)Lead-in the new words: breakfast

作为初中教学新手的我,这节课为我留下了太多的遗憾。面对新的教材,我总是很迷茫,对于教材的把握有很多不准确的地方,所以这节课“献丑”了。
本单元教学以食物为话题,主要应掌握我们日常生活中的各种常见食物,谈论对事物的喜好,它们各自的营养价值。这个话题贴近学生的实际生活,容易上口。因此本节课我基本完成了本课的教学目标,教学环节层层递进,符合学生的认知发展。有以下两点我自己认为做的相对较好:
一、明确任务目标,站在学生角度,精心设计活动。
精心设计可操作性强的任务化活动是成功组织任务型教学的首要条件。这样学生可以通过完成具体的任务来学习和巩固语言,积累学习经验和享受成功的喜悦。所以在设计活动时,教师站在学生的立场上,充分考虑了他们的兴趣及认知水平,在练习表达喜欢与不喜欢的句型是采用猜的方式,突出应用性原则,尽量避免“明知故问”的倾向。在拓展运用环节中,我设计先让学生四人小组调查他们三餐喜欢吃什么,然后提出健康饮食,再次四人合作制定一个合理的健康的饮食菜单。让学生们自己发现问题,解决问题,真正做到自主学习。使得学生能够主动地用所学语言去做事请,在做事情过程中自然地使用所学语言,在使用所学语言做事情地过程中发展语言能力。符合初一学生的心理特点,看,听,做,说全方位的调动,抓住了他们的注意力,使得他们的学习兴趣和热情被充分调动起来,课堂的参与度高。
二、备课时备学生。 因为是接班上课,对学生的程度不了解,所以我将2b的内容提前,作为复习环节来处理。目的是让学生再次复习单词,顺便对学生的单词掌握情况有了一定的考察。其次,能很好的了解与把握学生的程度,为接下来的教学环节中的难易程度是否需要调整提供依据。在最后一个环节设计了给老师写e-mail ,从句到段,层层深入目的是让学生们能结合前五个单元的内容(如:姓名、电话、家庭、运动、颜色、食物等)进行语言的综合运用。这个环节作为本课设计的弹性环节,若学生程度好可作为拓展,若时间紧也可留为作业。
三、课上关注课堂、关注学生。英语作为一本语言教学,最基本的目标是语言交流,而我们的学生没有足够的英语环境让他们去交流与运用,课堂成为了我们英语老师和学生们唯一的交际场所,所以我认为,老师的语言输出不应仅仅局限于本节课的内容,应该给学生们大量的信息,给与正确的引导,真正意义上的达到语言的交际功能。如在学生猜测我喜欢什么食物的时候,我会给出喜欢或不喜欢的原因,既引导学生去表达自己的喜好原因,又为最后情感教育健康饮食奠定了输出的基础,将健康饮食贯穿于始终,渗透于无形中。
四、不足与反思
1. 对教材把握不够,本课rice,egg,chicken,carrot是本课的新词,备课时曾考虑要不要呈现,左思右想之后认为对于学生来说不是难点,所以最终没有把它们作为新词来教。其实有些词也许不是难点重点,但作为新授内容是应该必须呈现的。
2.任务不明确,导语不清。卡通引入,学生不知道干什么,所以没有到预想激趣引课的良好效果。若在看前给出任务:What food can you see in the cartoon? 带着任务去看,就会有目的的看,从而便于语言的输出。
3. 小组活动相对较少,留给学生发挥的余地不够大。在单词分类环节中,个体完成,局限性大,展示小组智慧与合作的比较少。课后回想,其实可以小组讨论,采取竞赛方式,哪组说的越多,哪组加的分越多,进一步激发学生使用语言的兴趣
4. 对于时间的掌控上有所欠缺,教师再设计每个教学环节时应该对时间有一个基本的预算,这样可以避免教学任务不能按时完成。
 
遗憾总是永远的。每节公开课既是磨课,也是磨人,既使精心准备,也总有太多不足值得我去反思。 谢谢雷老师工作室,让我有了这样一个良好的平台去成长。真的希望我能尽早的走出迷茫,找准方向,找到适合我自己教学之路。
