教学过程：
Step 1: Greeting
T: Hello, everyone! I am very glad to be your teacher today. Do you know me? OK. I am Dora. I am a teacher from Grade 8.
(Say hello to some Ss.)
Step 2: Game
T: Do you want to guess what I have in my bag? If you are right, I will give it to you. When you guess, please use “Is there a … in your bag?”
Step 3: Presentation
T: Now we are friends. I want to invite you to my house. Please go with me.
(Show a picture of my own house and present: on, near, next to, behind, between … and … , across from, etc. )
Step 4: Ms Hu’s neighborhood
1. Show Ss a map of my neighborhood and introduce it to them.
2. Ask and answer about Ms Hu’s neighborhood according to the map.
3. Challenge your friend’s memory: ask and answer without showing the map.
Step 5: Your neighborhood
Pairwork: ask and answer about your neighborhood.
Step 6: Tony’s new neighborhood
Tony is my friend. He went to America last weekend. He is studying in America now.

2. Listening practice: 1b &2b.
