什么时候用第三人称单数？
当主语不是“我 (I)”、“你 (you)”、“我们 (we)”、“他们 (they)”，而是代表一个男生、一个女生或者一个东西/动物时，谓语动词就用第三人称单数。
e.g.
他 (he) →Tom（汤姆）, my brother（我的哥哥）, the boy（那个男孩）
她 (she) → Lucy（露西）, my teacher（我的老师）, the girl（那个女孩）
它 (it) → the cat（那只猫）, a book（一本书）, the school（学校）

什么时候动词要加“-s”？
当句子是 一般现在时（表示经常做、习惯做或事实），并且主语是“他/她/它”时，动词就要变。
e.g. I like dogs.
You like dogs.
He likes dogs.

怎么加“-s”？
大部分动词直接加 –s:
e.g. work → works play → plays run → runs like → likes eat → eats
以 ch, sh, s, x, o 结尾的动词，加 –es:
e.g. watch → watches wash → washes pass → passe go → goes
以“辅音字母 + y”结尾的动词，把 y 变成 i，再加 –es:
e.g. study → studies fly → flies try → tries
特殊：have → has
