Narrator:It was one week before Spring Festival. Tom, an exchange student from abroad, was experiencing Spring Festival in China with his host family for the first time.
Mrs. Chen: (enthusiastically and cheerfully) Tom, Spring Festival is coming! It's time to clean our house from top to bottom. This can sweep away the dirt of the past year and get us ready for the new year.
Tom: (curiously and excitedly) Wow, Mrs. Chen! This sounds interesting. Let me help you! (sweeping sounds)
Mrs. Chen: (laughing) Good boy! And later, we'll attach the Chinese character Fu upside down to our front door. It is believed that when Fu is put upside down, happiness arrives.
Tom:(full of anticipation) That's amazing! I can't wait to see it!
Sound effects: Sounds of pasting the Fu character
Tom: (surprised) Mrs. Chen, it really looks cool!
Narrator: The greatest excitement came the night before Spring Festival.
