Dear teachers and fellow students,
It’s my great privilege to be here to deliver a lecture about how to effectively protect our precious heritage sites because they are suffering serious damage from both natural forces and human activities. To protect heritage well, we should first know the importance of heritage carries. The heritage reflects the history and culture of a place. Besides, it can promote local tourism, boost the economy and help build a human community with a shared future. It is in places like these that we can’t help but be humbled, come to understand our limitations as human beings, and know that our duty is to protect them for future generations. As far as I’m concerned, to protect these heritage sites requires joint efforts. As an individual, I can help educate people about the dangers these heritage sites are facing by making posters and posting them online. Besides, governments should make regulations and laws to protect the heritage and strengthen protection and daily maintenance. If possible, Organizations and communities should join hands to protect and launch protection campaigns to protect and preserve. I hope everyone can realize the importance of heritage and do their parts to protect the heritage.
