一、教学目标
语言能力目标：
1. 学生能够朗读并理解关于剑门关的短文，掌握关键信息。
2. 学生能够借助图片和关键词复述文章内容。
3. 学生能够用英语简单介绍剑门关的位置、特点和历史。
文化意识目标：
1. 了解剑门关的地理位置与历史意义。
2. 理解“蜀道难”的文化背景及李白诗歌的文学价值。
3. 对比古今蜀道的变化，感受中国交通发展。
二、教学重点与难点
教学重点：
- 理解并复述文章内容。
- 掌握关键词汇：narrow roads, steep cliffs, important pass, throat of entering Shu, waterways, high-speed trains 等。
教学难点：
- 学生能运用所学语言结构进行有逻辑的口头表达。
- 理解“咽喉要塞”“一夫当关，万夫莫开”等文化概念的英文表达。
三、教学准备
- 多媒体课件（PPT《The Road to Shu》）
- 学生用阅读材料（打印版）
- 图片卡片（剑门关、李白、交通工具等）
- 听力录音（教师自录或使用音频资源）
四、教学过程
（一）导入（5分钟）
- 播放《蜀道难》诗句朗诵，引出主题。
- 提问：你知道哪些关于“蜀”的诗句？
（引导学生说出“蜀道之难，难于上青天”）
- 介绍李白及其号“青莲居士”，简要说明他与蜀道的关系。
（二）听读理解（10分钟）
1. 听音圈词：播放短文录音，学生边听边圈出关键词。

2. 图片环游：逐段展示PPT图片，教师带读并解释每段内容。
- 分段讲解剑门关的位置、地形、历史、现状。

（三）语言梳理与复述（10分钟）

Jianmen Pass is in Sichuan. It’s in the southwest of China. It is famous as “No.1 Pass in the world”.
It has got narrow(狭窄的) roads(过道). It has got tall and steep(陡峭的) cliffs(悬崖). So it is very scary(可怕的) for us to pass.

We can walk along the roads and try to climb the cliffs. There are many beautiful flowers and green plants as well. We can take photos here. Lots of people come to visit Jianmen Pass every year.
Jianmen Pass has a long history. It was an important(重要的) pass . It was also the throat(要塞) of entering(进入) Shu from the north. The great poet Li Bai wrote a famous poem The difficult road to Shu about that.
