Step1 Lead - in
Show some pictures about different hobbies, such as reading, dancing, painting... Ask students: What can you see in the picture Guide the students to tell the activities in the picture. paper - cutting 剪纸
Step2 Word learning
Present the new words jogging, painting, paper - cutting, all kinds of, fit, etc. and let the students to read and spell them together. 注意:双写g+ing.
cut - cutting 注意:双写t+ing.
swim - swimming 注意:双写m+ing
Consolidate the words through the game "Word guess guess", one student perform the hobby action and the other students guess the words.
Step3 Sentence pattern exercises
Teacher asked: What do you like doing Guide the students to answer with the I like... eg: I like paper - cutting
Group work: Practice the dialogue between deskmates, ask each other and answer hobbies.

① Let students go in groups to introduce themselves and then ask their hobbies using the conversation above as a model.
② Let students open the textbook, listen to the recording, and read the dialogue by imitating the voice and intonation in the recording.
③ Students will read the dialogue in roles, and then perform in groups. Teachers will evaluate and feedback the students' performance.
④ Create different hobbies, such as jogging, painting, paper cutting... Let students have a dialogue according to the hobbies, Cultivate students' language ability.

总结反思
In sentence pattern teaching, I created a variety of situations for students to imitate and practice. However, some students are not confident enough and fluent enough. This reminds me to encourage more students and provide more language support and practice opportunities.
