On September 3,2025,the sky in Beijing was blue and clear.China had a big military parade in the city.It was
to mark the 80th year of winning the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World
Anti-Fascist War.The event had a theme:"Commemorating the Great Victory,Upholding Peace and Development".
Its aim was to remember history,respect heroes,value peace,and encourage young people.
Many people came to watch the parade.They stood on both sides of the street.Some waved small national flags.
When the parade started,everyone shouted loudly for joy.The parade went on for about 70 minutes.It had 45 groups.
There was an aerial flag group-they flew planes with the national flag.There were foot groups too;soldiers walked
in straight lines,one step after another.Honor guards carried old battle flags,and equipment groups had big cars.
Plane groups filled the sky with planes flying in neat teams.
The equipment part was very easy to notice.It showed China's own active main battle machines.These machines
were bright and strong.New generation armored cars were big and had thick covers.Planes looked nice with their
silver color.Unmanned machines were small but clever.All these showed China was getting better in national defense
modernization.
A big great part was the joint military band's show.The band had 14 rows-this stood for the 14-year resistance.
There were 80 trumpet players,and they stood for the 80th anniversary.They played old war songs.The music was
loud and touching.Many people listened carefully,and some even hummed with it.It was a strong way to respect
history.
This parade was not just a show of military power.It was a serious promise to keep peace and learn from history.
Officers said the event showed China's progress in defense technology.It also showed China's strong wish to help
world peace.Foreign guests came,and old war soldiers came too.The old soldiers were old,but they looked proud.
Their coming made this memory event important for the whole world.
