The Louvre Museum in Paris, France,is one of the oldest, largest and most famous art galleries and museums in the world. The Louvre was originally a royal palace, until Louis XIV moved his court to Versailles in 1682. It became a public museum in the late 18th century, and has since built one of the greatest collections of art in the world.

Here at the top of the stairs is this 1 huge sculpture. Although 2 her head and arms are missing, you can still imagine her posture. The folded dress shows incredible 3 skill of the sculptor.
