Step 1 Revision
1. Ask Ss to answer some questions. (PPT5)
Question 1: What’s the motto of the French Revolution?
Answer 1: Liberty, equality and fraternity.
Question 2: What do the stars and the stripes of the American flag stand for?
Answer 2: The stars stand for the 50 states of the US. The stripes stand for the original 13 states.
Question 3: What’s the Indonesian national flag like?
Answer 3: It’s a red band over a white one.
