教学目标
1. 能读懂三篇短文,了解三座欧洲城市的特色交通。 2. 善于观察和发现不同城市的美。 3. 借助所学语篇,迁移运用谈论自己喜欢的城市。 4. 能运用阅读策略提取关键信息。
教学内容
教学重点: 通过阅读三篇短文,了解欧洲的三座城市Amsterdam, London, Copenhagen的名称、地理位置以及主要交通方式。
2. 在语境中理解以下词汇、词组和句型的涵义:It is called..., more...than..., underground, station, biggest, oldest,healthy。
教学难点: 能够介绍自己喜欢的城市。

Amsterdam, Netherlands荷兰·阿姆斯特丹(世界地图显示阿姆斯特丹所在国家以及地理位置) 2.Why is it called Bicycle City?听音再读语篇,找到阿姆斯特丹被称为“自行车之城”的原因 3.In Amsterdam, what do people usually do by bike 看图说一说在阿姆斯特丹,人们通常骑车去干什么? People usually ________ by bike. (go to school/go to work/go shopping/go the park) 通过分别观看三座城市特色交通的视频,初步感知目标文本内容。在老师的引导下,再通过听读文本,回答问题、理解词义、判断正误等练习深入理解文本内容,了解三座城市的特色交通。

People can walk slowly and enjoy beautiful sceneries(风景) in the garden . 通过快速阅读两段描述中国城市的短文,让学生学会快速提取关键信息,猜出城市的名称。然后学会迁移运用,用本节课所学知识描述自己喜欢的城市。最后鼓励学生去走进一座城市,乘坐城市交通工具、品尝城市特有美食、感受城市独特气候、体验城市全新文化,发现每座城市不同的美。
Step4. Homework 1. Read the picture book: I live in the City. 2. Make a poster to introduce your favourite city. 巩固并拓展本节课所学内容
