T: Our friends Eddie and Hobo also meet a problem. Watch the video and answer the following questions.
(1) What are Eddie and Hobo doing?
(2) Where are Eddie and Hobo?
(3) What problem do they have?
(4) Does Hobo really know the way?

Step 1 Lead-in
1. Different directions
T: Look at the picture and tell me what directions the blue arrows are pointing.
What directions are the red arrows pointing?
2. Find the places
T: Look at this map. Suppose you are in the zoo. Can you find the location of the cinema/the school/the museum?

Step 2 Part A
1. Mark the places on the map
T: The students are planning a class trip. Let’s help them find the places on the map. Listen carefully while I am reading the instructions and mark the places on the map.
(1) Sunshine zoo is north of Sunshine Middle School.
(2) Sunny Garden is west of the zoo.
(3) Lake Park is south of Sunny Garden.
(4) Sunshine Park is east of Lake Park.

T: Work in groups and take turns to tell the locations of the following places.
