2. New structures: This year’s Beijing Music Awards will be covered live this Saturday.
Write down your answers and send text messages to 1396 while watching the show.
Murder in a Country House is a horror film directed by Cindy Clark, a new director.
This one-hour documentary takes a close look at the life of tigers in India.

T: What is the best TV programme for Simon? Why?
S: The best TV programme for Simon is Sports World. He loves music and sports, especially football. He will be at home all morning or after 10 p.m.
2. Fill in the blanks.
T: Can you tell Simon something about it? Fill in the blanks.
In Sports World, there is a weekly round-up of what is happening in sport, with up-to-date information. The programme covers different sports.

3. Language points.

The number of his fans is 14 in our class.
Look at these two sentences. Can you find out the rules?
S: “A number of” means “many or a lot of”. We often use the plural form of a noun after it. “The number of his fans” only refers to a number. So it is singular.
T: Let’s look at this sentence. Can you find out the answer?

3. Language points.

Because the programme is covered live. That is to say her dancing was sent out and shown on TV while she was dancing.

2. Language points.
T: Millie will watch a horror film named Murder in a Country House. It is a horror film directed by Cindy Clark. The murder happened in a country house. A wealthy man was killed. He was a man of wealth. Maybe someone killed him for his money. But we will not find out who is the murderer until the very end.
T: As we all know, Cindy Clark directed the film. We can also say, the film was directed by Cindy Clark. The film directed by her was a great success. As a new director, she is successful. Here are two sentences for you. Can you complete them?

2. Language points.
T: Tiger Watch is a one-hour documentary. It takes a close look at the tigers in India.
Look, an 8-year-old boy is taking a close look at the dog. He likes animals very much. He is an animal-lover.
When you have a look at these pictures, how do you feel?
S: We feel sad.
