As a small boy， Jim Corbett was amazed by wildlife.He taught himself how to seek animals and birds by the sounds they made.Later， Jim became a tracker and hunter.The authorities asked him to track and shoot man-eating tigers to protect people.

Rohan Chakravarty， a cartoonist from Nagpur， is the creator of Green Humour — a series of cartoon books focused on wildlife and nature protection.His works bring to life a world where tigers worry about their future and whales throw ocean plastic waste back to humans.
Chakravarty was drawn to cartoons， like many children when he was young.Although he would get punished for often drawing on school desks and his textbooks， it didn’t stop him from creating cartoon books based on the cartoons he saw on TV.
His turning point came during his first wildlife trip as a volunteer for a Non-Governmental Organization （NGO）， where he saw a tiger and was inspired to draw cartoons on wildlife.Originally aiming for a job in medicine， Chakravarty realized it wasn’t his interest.Soon， Chakravarty started working as an animation （动画） designer in a Bengaluru company， and chose cartoons as his medium to communicate serious problems like environmental protection in a more attractive manner.
In 2013， Chakravarty started Green Humour， which was published on GoComics， becoming the first Indian cartoon series to reach the world.So far， Chakravarty has published nine books， including Making Friends with Snakes， which has been translated into 14 foreign languages and won a prize at the Green Literature Festival in 2021.
