Do you have any suggestions 你有一些建议吗?此句中的any用于否定句和疑问句,表“一些”,对应肯定句中用“some”,eg.I have some suggestions for you.
若any用于肯定句,一般表示“任何,任一”之意。

Either...or... 要么……要么…… A given name, either in Chinese or in English, carries the hope of a family for a baby.(P54) 【拓展】either,也可做副词,用于否定句,表示“也”,初中常见的三个“也”辨析如下:
too too多用于口语中,置于句末或句中,在句末时,通常其前有逗号,在句中时,前后都有逗号。 Tom is a student,and Jack is a student, ________. 汤姆是学生,杰克也是学生。 I,too,have been to the Great Wall.我也去过长城。
also also通常置于实义动词之前,助动词、情态动词和be动词之后。 He can speak English and _______________French. 他会说英语,也会说法语。
either either用于否定句中,置于句末。 My mother hasn’t been to Beijing. I haven’t been there,___________. 我妈妈没去过北京,我也没去过。
Either,pron.两者之一,做主语时,谓语动词用单数。Either...or...连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词的选择,遵循“就近原则”。
单元语法聚焦——现在进行时
概念:现在进行时表示现在正在进行的动作。通常与now, this week, at this moment, right now等时间状语连用;也可以与一个准确的时间连用,如at seven o’clock;还可以用look或listen提醒听者注意正在发生的事,意为主语“现在正在做……”。
一、用法
1、现在(说话的瞬间)正在进行或发生的动作,强调“此时此刻”。
Eg. They are working now.他们现在在工作。 Where are they going 他们上哪儿去?
2、当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
Eg. We are working on a farm these days.这些天我们在农场干活。
My mother is making a dress these days.我母亲这几天在做衣服。
3、 某些动词的现在进行时,表预定的计划或即将发生的动作。
Eg She is leaving for London soon.她很快就要去伦敦了。
He is coming here next week.他下星期来这儿。
4.、表示一种渐变的过程。 It's getting warmer and warmer.天气越来越暖和了。
二、构成
肯定式:主语+am/is/are+现在分词+其他 He is buying a bike.
否定式:主语+am/is/are not+现在分词+其他 He isn’t buying a bike.
一般疑问式:Am/Is/Are+主语+现在分词+其他 Is he buying a bike
疑问否定式:Am/Is/Are++not主语+现在分词+其他 Isn’t he buying a bike
特殊疑问式:特殊疑问词+ am/is/are+主语+现在分词+其他What is he buying
三、动词现在分词变化规则:
1.一般情况是在动词原型后加ing
如: read----reading ; drink---drinking ; eat---eating ; listen--- listening jump---jumping ;
2. 以不发音字母e结尾的动词,去掉e再加ing
如:write ---writing ; make--- making ; ride---riding ;take---taking
3. 以重读闭音节结尾的动词,如果末尾只有一个辅音字母,要双写结尾的辅音字母再加ing
如sit---sitting ; swim---swimming ; put--- putting ; run--- running;get----getting

4. 特殊:以ie结尾的动词,改ie为y,加ing。
初中涉及到的:tie---tying lie—lying die---dying
【注意】不是所有动词都能用现在进行时态,如表示感觉、愿望和状态的某些动词:see、like、want、know、taste 等往往都不用进行时态。
