Turning Red
1. / 3. Turning Red is the first Pixar animation(皮克斯动漫) to be directed only by a woman, and the first one about a girl from an Asian family: the girl is Mei Lee, who turns into a huge, messy red panda whenever she is stressed.
1. Another thing that makes Turning Red different from other Pixar films is its style. 2. The director, Domee Shi, was inspired by the Japanese cartoons she watched when she was Mei’s age in the early 2000s.
“Mei Lee is this confident but super-dull 13-year-old Asian kid in Canada,” Shi told The Wrap, “and what does that look like What does her world look like 2. I got a lot of inspiration from Sailor Moon. We really wanted the audience to feel what Mei’s feeling.”
The Batman
The world isn’t exactly short of Batman films, but this one, directed by Matt Reeves, is lively enough to make it different from the others.
The Batman introduces Colin Farrell as a bad Penguin, Zo?Kravitz as a Catwoman, and Paul Dano as the Riddler(谜语人). Most importantly, Robert Pattinson is playing a serious Dark Knight(骑士).
Everything Everywhere All At Once
Multiverses(多元宇宙) feel like the hot topic of the season.
Written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Everything Everywhere All At Once stars Michelle Yeoh as Evelyn, “ 3. a tired Chinese American woman who can’t seem to finish her jobs,” according to the newspaper.
She then discovers that she has bigger problems. She can learn the memories and skills of a number of Evelyns from different universes — and she must use that power to save all of those universes from the bad guys.
Thank you!
