Tyrone Bogues was a real-life NBA player who succeeded despite being only 1.6 tall, overcoming doubts about his height/ overcoming physical limitations through determination.
Paul chose Bogues as his favorite player not only because of his basketball skills, but also because Bogues represented a spirit and a belief, and this belief was eventually fulfilled in Paul himself.
