高考英语读后续写
十句五定
Sunlight was my alarm as I rose to prepare for my morning coffee. I looked out into our living area where my son and my husband, Jon, were asleep. I smiled as the traveling life wove our family together from separate pieces of cloth into a quilted piece of art.
I thought back to our old life. Jon worked over forty hours a week as the only IT person for the bank and its eleven branches. I also worked in a company that was very demanding. Jon had his work schedules and I had my work plans, so we hardly had time to keep up with my son's public schooling. Our son was very dissatisfied with us and our relationship was at a breaking point. Therefore, I talked with Jon seriously, deciding to do something for it during the summer vacation.
Then our life fit into 200 square feet of living space in this motorhome and a 5 X 7 storage unit. With such limited storage space, something new came in only if something old went out. We had more time to accompany our son.
“Morning, Mom,” my little son greeted me. “I remember I have a composition needed to finish today, but I am at a loss for ideas and I don't know how to do it," he added.
“Oh, honey, I think we can think of an idea together after breakfast,” I kissed him.
As the sweet-smelling coffee filled the motorhome, I glanced at my son's notebook page titled “My Best Adventure”. After breakfast, my son and I sat at the table to discuss his composition. He chewed on the end of his pencil, frowning (皱眉). Though Jon joined us and offered some advice, he still seemed to be at a loss. “Mom, I still don't know how to write about ‘My Best Adventure',” he said sadly. I touched his hair gently. Then suddenly, an idea occurred to me.
