First,Let’s do scanning.
Listen to the tape and find topic sentence of each paragraph.
Before that I'd like to give you one tip.If we want to find the main idea or the topic sentence of one paragraph, we should focus on the opening or closing sentence, which means the first or the last sentence.
Take paragraph one as an example.The topic sentence is the last sentence.“Words are important but are can also give...” Please look at the two words“Important， also”.So can you tell me body language is important or not?Yes it is also important .So the first paragraph tells about the importance of body language.right?
Now please listen to the tape and underline the topic sentence of each photograph.

The topic sentence of paragraph two is? Perfect!You got the right answer.How about paragraph three. Good! Paragraph 4? Now please pay attention to the three topic sentence.They have the words “varies, different , differ”.
