学情分析
对于九年级的学生,通过三年多的英语学习,英语应用水平相对有提高,有较好的听、说、读、写的习惯,能用英语比较准确的表达观点。本课生词不多,学生能基本掌握单词的发音和基本意思。本单元的话题是“发明”,学生乐于接受新事物,对于时下较流行的各种发明也有所了解。因此他们有较高的学习热情,能比较轻松的完成相关的任务活动。由于他们之前已掌握了一定的被动态语言知识,所以对含一般过去式的被动语态的特殊疑问句的理解和运用难度也不大。
效果分析
通过本节课的学习,大部分学生都能使用正确的句型完成对话练习并进行小语段的输出,参与度较高。有一部分同学在单词“invent”的读音和“What is it/are they used for?”句式上出错较多。
从整堂课效果来分析,学生通过合作探究学习来获取知识,利用充分的时间(25分钟左右)进行对话操练,理解并掌握一般过去时的被动语态的用法。从课堂表现来说,不论是课前导入、新知识的呈现,还是问题的设计,都能紧紧抓住学生,让学生积极参与到课堂上来。
课后反思
本课教学内容为九年级Unit 1 When was it invented?第一课时(听说课),围绕“发明”这个话题,通过学习一般过去时的被动语态,介绍日常生活中一些常见物品的发明历史,为下一步学习茶业的发明和篮球的发明打下基础。
本人依据课程目标并结合教学内容,设计了贴近学生生活的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与。在听力环节,让学生带着问题听,并掌握一定的听力技巧,使学生能够从听的过程中获取信息,再提取重点句型,进行语言输出。在说的环节,结合当下学生感兴趣的新发明,以Pairwork和Groupwork等形式进行练习,增进了学生间的合作,交流与互动,使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习,参与面广,课后学生反映较好,基本达成预期目标。学生在语言交际的同时,感悟到了be invented in, be used for的用法,有效地突破了难点。
不足之处:?1. 课堂节奏有些慢,听力到对话练习的过渡时不够简短。2. 虽然介绍了新兴的发明,但发散学生思维的课堂比例还较小。3. 在学生对话呈现时,出现单词发音错误,如invented,虽有纠正,但没及时强调。
教学设计

2、过程与方法:采用“呈现展示情景式”教学模式,首先把本课时的学习句式和任务布置给学生,同时提供学生完成任务所需要的语言素材,以此帮助学生在学习过程中形成主动的学习状态,然后通过操练,听力,培养学生的实际能力。
3、情感态度与价值观:了解一些近现代发明的时间及用途,激发自己热爱发明的情感。

一、教材内容分析
本课时教学内容为鲁教版九年级Unit1 When was it invented?第一课时,本课时围绕“发明”这个话题,介绍了日常生活中一些常见物品的发明历史,如:电视、电话、电脑、汽车等,它们被发明的时间及其作用等内容;从语言结构上,需要学习被动语态的过去时。依据《英语新课程标准》、教学内容和教学对象,我对相关部分进行了适当整合,确定本节课的主要教学目标为:学生能够使用一般过去时的被动语态来谈论发明的历史。

1、Knowledge object:
Vocabulary: style, heel, scoop
Target language: —When was the telephone invented?? ?—I think it was invented in 1876.? —What are they used for? ?—They are used for seeing in the dark.

四、教法选择、学法指导
本节课,我运用了远程教育资源和网络资源中的图片、动画、声音媒体等手段向学生呈现一般过去时的被动语态的基本句型并展开练习,结合学生生活实际,营造良好的语言学习情景,使学生愿意说。在输入新语言的同时采用情景再现法,任务型教学法,为学生设置较为真实的情景、语境,使学生在学中用,在用中感受,帮助养成良好语言学习习惯。

本堂课为听说课,活动1a—1c是Section A的基础。活动1a通过导入单元主题图,引导学生猜测四项发明的先后顺序,为1b的听力做了内容和语言结构上的准备和铺垫。活动1b要求学生将发明与其时间匹配,在此输入了本单元的重点语言结构:When was it invented? It was invented in…活动1c对本单元基本语法和基本句型进行口头操练,完成最基本的语言输出。

课程标准的研究
根据《英语课程标准》、教材内容和初中学生的学习特征,在考虑教学设计过程中,我把本课时的教学难点进行了适当的分解,尽量采用由浅入深的教学呈现方式以降低学生的学习难度,同时运用多媒体教学为学生营造良好的语言学习氛围。
本单元对应《课程标准》话题项目表中“科普知识与现代技术”的发明与技术(Inventions and technological advances)。第一课时(section A 1a—2c)主要引导学生能够正确使用一般过去时的被动语态谈论日常生活中一些常见物品的发明历史,以此提高学生的听说能力。该话题贴近学生生活,学生学习兴趣浓厚,课堂气氛活跃,学生在不断的交际活动中习得语言,学以致用。
