Nicholas Winton was born in May in 1909 in London. On 1.__________(leave) school, he worked in banks in Germany and France. He returned to Britain in 1931, 2.__________ he worked in business.
In December 1938, Winton 3.__________(ask) by a friend to come to Prague to aid people who were escaping from the Nazis. In Prague, Winton saw people living in 4.__________(terror) conditions and whose lives were in danger. He decided to help transport children to safety in Britain.
