Do you ever have problems getting all your work done? If you do, you should try the Pomodoro Technique.
“Pomodoro” means “tomato” in Italian. The Pomodoro Technique was created by an Italian,Francisco Cirillo, who used a tomato clock to count time when he was studying. Here is how the technique works:
Write down what you are going to do. Get a timer. Study for 25 minutes. This is called one “pomodoro”. Set a timer.
Stop studying when the timer goes off. Take a five-minute break. Note: You should set a timer not only for the pomodoros but for the breaks as well. That way, you won’t stop for too long. Start another pomodoro. After four pomodoros, take a longer break, 15 to 30 minutes. Note: The breaks help you focus and not feel tired.
