Lesson 26:Online Phone Calls
一、教材分析
1.单元及课文分析
本节课为七年级下五单元第26课,主要是让学生理解和运用本课的重点单词和句型。本单元的话题Online phone calls学生都很熟悉,很容易激发学生们的学习兴趣。要求学生结合生活实际,用所学的语言项目Making Phone CallsTalking about Possibilities,并能对Online phone calls提出评论。新教材重视以人为本,学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。根据学生实际情况,进行“教材分析”和“教材整合”,调整教学内容以符合学生的认知水平。
2.教学重点
(1)学习和Online phone calls有关的单词,巩固和扩展学生的词汇量,学习反身代词及情态动词can的用法。
(2)和同学一起用英语进行一些简单的Online phone calls。
3.教学难点
(1)正确使用反身代词的用法。
(2)学会使用情态动词can。
(3)教学难点:能运用所学的语言项目与别人进行简单自如的网络交谈。

(4)学习策略:以培养学生自主学习能力为主线,学生的自我评价和他人评价贯穿于整个课堂教学过程。本课的教学流程示意如下:

二、教学步骤
Step 1. class opening(4minutes)
1.教师用多媒体播放上网对话交流图片,提问 What do you usually do when you play on the computer? Does the computer help you study?激发学生的想象,然后让学生用英语表达自己的感受。两人一组讨论,看哪位学生说得多,说得好。
【设计思路】
使用多媒体课件导入直观、生动,能吸引学生的注意力,有助于激发他们的学习兴趣。学生讨论,可以激发他们的交流意识。
2. New Words Learning
呈现一些图片,讲授新单词,训练学生的拼写能力。将这些单词写在黑板上,为下面的句型操练做准备。
【设计说明】
此环节的设计目的有两个:一是让学生尽快进入学习状态,同时通过他们熟悉的内容引出新单词:二是通过单词学习活动,巩固了学生对单词的拼写。
Step2. New concepts(25 minutes)
1. 教师用课件呈现以下问题:

3. 指导学生找出本课的语言点:
教师先示范一至两个重点句型或词汇,之后分两人一组找出本科的语言点,然后以小组为单位进行重点句型的讨论。最后,教师让学生总结展示。教师用简短的语言小结,将重点句型板书。?

在前两个环节的铺垫下,提出问题,激发其明确而强烈的学习动机,促使他们运用所学的语言项目,通过小组讨论找到本课重点,这一过程能培养学生的合作意识,并提高学习效率,同时可以培养学生解决问题的能力。
Step3 Consolidation(15minutes)
1. Imitate the pronunciation—模仿录音
Listen to the audiotape and have them repeat it.?

3.做课本中的 “LET’S DO IT”
Do Ex. 3 and check the answers, then do Ex. 4 in class.

三、课后反思
本节课的成功之处有以下几点:
1.在教学过程中,努力贯彻以学生为主体的教学新理念,注意调动学生的学习积极性和主动参与的热情,设计的活动符合学生的年龄特点,鼓励和引导学生积极发言。力求使各个活动环环相扣,以符合学生的思维特点和认知水平。
2.创设了各种问题情境,吸引学生的注意力,营造宽松,愉悦的学习气氛。
3. 师生、生生互动性强,有个人活动、同伴活动和小组活动,活动形式多样化。本节课还有一些需要改进之处:
1.时间分配需要更合理。由于引入和练习环节稍超出预设范围,为使教学时间不超时,后面表演环节,未能让更多学生展示,深感遗憾。
2.对于学生交流中出现的错误,在纠错时有时语速过快,影响了学生的理解,在今后的教学中,应注意这些细节的处理。
