The feeling of disorientation(迷失方向), confusion(困惑), or anxiety(焦虑) experienced when a person moves to a new culture or environment with different customs, values, or social norms(社会规范).

I'm sorry to hear that you have been feeling anxious recently due to the cultural shock. I totally undersatnd your feelings.Usually, people think of culture shock as a bad thing—a problem to solve.But there is some more positive ways to see it.
At the beginning, try to be an observer(观察者). As an old saying goes, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Watching how people act in different situations may help you learn more about their lifestyles(生活风格) a lot without the pressure of speaking. Furthermore(此外), , why not start with small steps You don't need to understand everything at once. Set a small, easy goal for yourself each day. For instance, it could be to try one new food in the cafeteria(餐厅).
In fact, it's okay to feel uncomfortable and it's normal to feel a little awkward(尴尬的) or shy at the first place. Everyone feels this way sometimes. The important thing is to be kind to yourself and stay open-minded to new experiences.Most importantly, you are supposed to change culture shock into culture curiosity. This means changing your mindset(思维观念) from feeling worried to feeling interested. Instead of feeling like a stranger, try to think like an explorer or a friendly detective(侦探).
