A study timetable is a handy, inexpensive tool that can help you get control over your study time. If you want to get organized and feel motivated to get your work done to the best, try to make a study timetable following the steps.
Step 1: Make a list of your responsibilities.
You need to think about and write down the list. You should consider all of your classes as well as something you do every day like your homework, sports and exercise.
Step 2: Consider best times of day for studying.
Spend some time thinking about when you do your best studying. Are you a morning person or a night person Thinking about this now will help you do your best to schedule (计划) important study time during the best study hours.
Step 3: Decide on a form.
You can make your timetable on a piece of paper or in digital (电子的) form, such as a spreadsheet or an app on your phone. In fact, both paper and digital study timetables have their advantages. A digital timetable might be easier to make a few changes to. A print form might also be easier to color and personalize.
Step 4: Fill in your timetable.
You can make a single timetable that will stay the same each week. Or, you can build a custom one for each week, which changes depending on the specifics (细节) of that week. For a custom weekly timetable, start with a big project or final exams and work backwards. And don’t forget to include exceptions like birthdays and holidays.
Step 5: Schedule time for blocks and breaks.
You can aim for blocks of study time and I suggest a block of study time can be two to three hours. This will help you get into the groove of studying (学习最佳状态) and help you to be more productive with your time. But breaks are necessary for your success. You’re not a robot, so you can’t work non-stop for hours on end.
Step 6: Use the timetable.
Just keep to it but don’t stress about it. Don’t feel like you have to follow the timetable down to the exact minute. And look back to see what works and what doesn’t, and if something isn’t working, fix it!
1.What should we do first when we make a study timetable
2.What are the two forms of a timetable
3.According to the writer, how long can one block of study time last
4.How did you make your study timetable for the past winter vacation Is it helpful Why or why not

The FA Cup
The FA Cup is a very special football competition. It is the oldest football competition in the world as it has been played since 1871. It is also famous for the number of football teams in England that enter.
More than 700 football teams take part in the competition every year. That is all of the teams from the four professional (职业的) leagues and hundreds of small non-professional clubs. These clubs come from small towns and villages from around England.
Because there are so many teams, it lasts for a very long time. The early games are only between the small teams. After six matches, the professional teams from the third and fourth league enter and then, two games later, the biggest clubs from the Premier League.
Often very small clubs will play against big teams. There have been many surprise results in the past many years. Teams from the fifth league have even won against teams from the Premier League, but a Premier League team does usually win the competition every year. However, there is always a chance of seeing a surprise result. As a result, people show great interest in the FA Cup.

There’s a new sport at this year’s Paris Olympics: breaking. The sport combines dancing and acrobatics. To win the gold, breakers will spin, flip, and shuffle to hip-hop music. Here’s what you need to know about the sport.
Why is it called breaking
Breaking started in the 1970s. At parties, dancers got up to perform during musical “breaks,” which gave breaking its name. Breaking is now an important part of hip-hop culture.
Who can be a breaker
Anyone can be a B-girl or a B-boy, which is what breakers call themselves. Montalvo is an American B-boy. “Breaking is awesome because it’s part of hip-hop culture. It doesn’t matter what color you are, who you are, where you’re from,” he says. “It’s all about peace, love and having fun.” Do the breakers pick their own music
No! In breaking competitions, a DJ picks the music. The breakers never know what songs the DJ will pick.
How do breakers describe their dance
Breakers have their own language to describe their dance. A “top rock” is when a breaker dances while standing up. A “down rock” is when a breaker dances on the floor, moving their arms and kicking their legs.
31.How can breakers win the gold (不超过10个词)
32.What does breaking mean to Montalvo (不超过10个词)
33.Look at the picture, how will breakers describe it in their own language (不超过5个词)

Shenzhen did a lot to prepare for the Games. It opened several new underground lines, and added 200 electric buses and 300 electric taxis to the city. Also, the building of 21 new locations for events to take place at was successfully completed. The Games made use of 54 different stadiums, including 29 competition halls and 25 training halls.
Over 150 countries and areas took part in the Games. The athletes’ performance (表现) was impressive. China did very well during the Games and won the most gold medals with 75, compared to Russia’s 42. Many of these athletes are women. A large group of athletes at the Olympics take part in track and field events. Track events, such as running, test a person’s speed. Field events, such as the high jump, long jump and shot put, test how high or far someone can jump or throw an object.
One of the most exciting events in the Olympics is the 100-meter race. More than one hundred years ago, the world record for the men’s 100-meter race was 10.6 seconds. However, athletes have run faster and faster. In 1960, the record was 10 seconds. Then at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the record was set at 9.69 seconds. The London Marathon is a long-distance running event and has been held every year since 1981. At the first one, just 6,225 people completed the course, and since then it has been among the most important sporting events in the world. Each winner receives $500,000 in prize money. However, most marathon runners are not professional. Some of them run to raise money for charities.
One exciting part from this year’s race was the story of Ms Doggett. “It’s hard to think that just a few years ago we were sitting in a hospital room wondering if our mom would make it through her serious heart disease,” said Steven Doggett, her son, “but now, she’s running her first London Marathon for The British Heart Foundation.”
BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth was another runner of this year to inspire people, as she has crossed the finishing line in her seventh London Marathon. She prepared for this year’s marathon by running 150 miles across the Sahara Desert(撒哈拉沙漠). “It felt really tough; it was really hot; it felt as hot as the Sahara,” she told Gabby Logan on BBC Two. “I was 20 minutes slower but I’ve got my medal and that’s the most important.”
Every year there are lots of touching stories like these from the London Marathon, and it is a huge achievement(成就) even to run the 26.2 miles!
