Last Sunday, I spent the whole morning helping my mother with housework. It was more
tiring than I expected, but we had a great time working together.
First, we cleaned my bedroom thoroughly. I organised my bookshelf and put away my
clothes while my mother wiped the furniture and mopped the floor. Second, we moved to the
kitchen where we prepared lunch. My mother taught me how to chop vegetables properly and
make a delicious tomato soup. Third, we went to our small garden to water the plants and pull
out some weeds. By noon, we were both quite tired but satisfied.
Through this experience, I realised how much work my mother does every day. I also
learned that sharing household chores can make the work lighter and more enjoyable.
