2.Express our own opinions on learning styles clearly and logically. Moreover, our critical thinking ability will be enhanced as we analyze and evaluate the two different learning styles.

Talk with your partner.
2 Read the passage and answer the
questions.
Ms Liu: Hello, class! Today, we will work in pairs. We are going to discuss different ways to learn. Each one of you will argue that your way is the best. Let’s start with Li Ming and Wang Mei.
I think self-study is better than other ways of learning! Studying alone helps us focus completely on the material. When we do self-study, we pay all our attention to learning.
I believe group study is better! Studying with others makes it possible for us to work together and share our understanding. Discussing the topic can help us understand it better.
2 Read the passage and answer the
questions.
I respectfully disagree. Here's why: Studying alone allows us to have full control over our learning environment. Some students prefer to study alone with soft music on. Besides, we can control when and where you study. When we study in a group, we have to find a time that works for everyone.
I’m not sure I would agree with that. When we are alone, we may become lazy, or we may direct our attention to other things. A study group can help us focus on our studies and motivate us.
Ms Liu: Thank you, Wang Mei and Li Ming, for your great debate. Both of you gave very good reasons for your favourite ways of learning. Everyone learns differently. You just find the way that suits you best.
2 Read the passage and answer the
