Learning objectives
In this lesson, we will be able to:
Identify different types of learners and understand the characteristics of each type, which helps to improve our reading-comprehension ability in line with the language-knowledge acquisition requirement.
Use English to communicate effectively, enhancing ur oral- communication skills and promoting our ability to apply language in real-life situations.
After discussing how to make good use of each type of learner’s strength and writing down suggestions, we can express our own ideas in English, cultivate our critical-thinking ability and writing skills.

Danny: Dad, I don’t think I am a good learner.
Mr Dino: What makes you say that
Danny: I’m having a hard time in physics and I’m afraid of the maths exam.
Mr Dino: You might not be the best in physics and maths, but you communicate well with others and are great at basketball. You are a good learner but of a different kind.
Danny: What do you mean
Mr Dino: Well, no one is perfect, and no two persons are the same. People learn in different ways. There are seven types of learners.
Danny: Oh, what are they
Mr Dino: The first type of learners prefers to use pictures and images. The second prefers to listen to people talking. The third learns through writing and reading. The fourth is good at using logic and reasoning. The fifth likes to learn by touching or doing using their hands or bodies. The sixth prefers to learn in groups. The last enjoys studying alone.
Danny: Wow! I can see that I belong to the fifth type, right
Mr Dino: Yes, I think so. You are physically active. This offers you good opportunities in PE. A good learner always makes good use of their strengths.
Danny: What should I do to help myself better understand physics and maths
Mr Dino: Well, I guess you need more hands-on activities. You can take notes while listening to your teacher. Help your teacher with physics experiments. And study together with other kids.
Danny: I want to try it now! I feel I can do it. Thank you, Dad!

意为 “做笔记”
Point
用法:
为动词短语,可单独使用或后接 “while + 动词 - ing” 等结构
例句:
