本课题贴近学生的学习生活实际,很容易引起学生的学习兴趣和共鸣。通过本节课的学习,学生不仅将掌握学习英语的一些具体方法,而且会了解到学好英语的“必备条件”。在活动中学英语,把语言知识融入生活实际,让学生大脑动起来,思维活起来,课堂火起来,学生能更轻松愉快地学习和运用英语。
效果分析
本节课我采用任务型教学模式,梯度化、层层递进的任务设计,让学生逐步了解一些有效的学习方式和成功学习者所具备的优秀学习习惯。通过小组学习活动,学生能将自己的学习方法总结出来并能针对其他同学的学习困难提出适当的学习建议。在本节课中,通过学生的自主学习展示,可以看出学生对于本节课的理解较好。通过写作练习反馈也可看出,学生对于本节课的重点句型也基本掌握了。
How can we become good learners? 课后反思
本节课设计以“学生是学习的主体”为出发点,重点培养学生的自主学习能力和合作探究能力。本节课我采用任务型教学模式,梯度化、层层递进的任务设计,让学生逐步了解一些有效的学习方式和成功学习者所具备的优秀学习习惯。通过小组学习活动,学生能将自己的学习方法总结出来并能针对其他同学的学习困难提出适当的学习建议。在本节课中,通过学生的自主学习展示,可以看出学生对于本节课的理解较好。通过写作练习反馈也可看出,学生对于本节课的重点句型也基本掌握了。
英语学习的最根本目的在于培养学生的综合运用能力,本节课学生自学和小组活动为主要学习方式,就训练了学生的口头表达能力,又达到了训练、提升语言的书写能力的目的。
本节课教学内容与学生的学习非常贴近,很容易引起学生们情感上的共鸣。通过本节课的学习,学生领会到仅仅努力学习是不够的,有效的学习方法和优秀的学习习惯能学习更高效,本课的学习引导学生关注优秀学生的学习方式,并思考是否自己具备优秀学习者的学习习惯和方法,能借鉴并用于自身,树立学好英语的信心,鼓励自己直面学习困难,积极探索解决方案,选择有效的学习方法,培养优秀的学习习惯,达到提高学习效率的目的。

a. Get students to learn the words and phrases:
ability,create,brain,active,attention,connect,review,knowledge,wisely
pay attention to, connect-with, depend on, whether or not, learn from, have something in common
b. The students will be able to use the expressions:
Everyone is born with the ability to learn. But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits. Research shows that successful learners have some good habits in common. He succeeded by trying many times and learning from his mistakes. They may take notes by writing down key words or by drawing mind maps.
2).Ability aims:
To improve the students’ reading abilities.
3).Emotional aims:
To develop students’ learning skills and get them to learn good learning habits. To get them remember: Learning is a lifelong journey.
2.学情分析
本节课的内容是鲁教版英语八年级年级第四单元Section B的阅读课,谈论的是好的学习习惯,怎样成为好的学习者。对于八年级的学生来说部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,并且这个话题是非常贴近学生生活并且对学生有利的。另外,前面几个课时关于怎么学英语也为这节课提供了很好的说的基础。因此,相信通过这一课的学习,学生能很好地了解好的学习习惯,会受益匪浅。

Step 1 An English song
Show students the music video of “see you again”.

Step 2 Free talk
1).Ask students the following questions:

4.When do you listen to English songs?(T: I often listen to English songs when I am driving the car.)
(设计意图:英文歌是学生平时经常接触的东西,通过询问有关英文歌的问题可以让学生有话可说,并将它和学习英语以及学习习惯联系起来。)
2).Show a picture and get students to tell what the boy is doing when he is listening to English songs.
S1:The boy is listening to music while doing his homework.
T: Is it a good habit?
Ss; No, it isn’t. It’s a bad habit.
T:Yes, because you can’t pay attention to your study, and you will not get good grades. What should do if you want to get good grades?

Get students to read the paragraphs carefully one by one , then finish the task.

Read paragraph 2 and get students to fill the chart.

6. Get one student to read paragraph 6 and think:
Do you agree that learning is a lifelong journey? Why or why not?
Then make the conclusion: Learn wisely and learn well.
7. Give the students the tip: When you read a passage, pay attention to its structure.

8.Give students some key words and get them to retell the passage.
