Teaching Material The grammar item in this unit is tag question. It is usually used in informal conversation to initiate a conversation and start a conversation with the other person. It is used to verify a statement or judgment to the speaker. It can also be used in imperative sentences to express a request or suggestion. Through observation and experience, students will be able to use the grammar items naturally in oral communication. The understanding and use of tag questions can help students express their ideas in appropriate language forms, respond to the other side’s views or verify the unclear information in oral communication, which can help students effectively maintain communication and better express their views.
