文本解读
主题语境:人与社会——音乐 语篇类型:说明与叙事相结合的文章 语篇研读: 【what】本文介绍了一种新的音乐形式——虚拟合唱团的形成、意义及其创始人Eric Whitacre。 【why】通过本文,作者想要让读者意识到音乐是人类的通用语言。它可以把不同种族,不同国家,不同性别的人们联系在一起。 【How】全文以说明为主,以叙事为辅。在阐述虚拟合唱团的形成,意义时采用的是一般现在时,并且以对比的形式谈到虚拟合唱团与传统合唱团区别。同时,按照时间线的顺序,用一般过去时介绍了Eric Whitacre的故事,其中运用高级表达:过去分词作状语的形式,例如Born in the USA on 2 January 1970, Whitacre began studying music at the University of Nevada in 1988。这篇文章涉及到了一些与音乐有关的主题词及词块,例如studio, upload…onto the Internet, original, performance, on stage等。
学情分析
大部分学生英语基础处于中等偏上,对音乐感兴趣,粗略了解传统合唱团,但是对虚拟合唱团并不了解。学生能够理解文章大意,并且可以提取关键信息,但是整合信息能力较弱。高一的学生在获取文本大意后,缺乏有效地深入探究文本内涵的方法,不善于从文章中提炼出具有批判性、创新的观点。
教学目标
通过本节课的学习,学生能够 1、获取梳理虚拟合唱团及其创始人的事实性信息。 2、分析并概括文章的篇章特点及结构:以说明文的的形式介绍虚拟合唱团,以记叙文的形式介绍创始人。 3、利用寻读策略,高效搜索目标信息。 4、在语境中学习并掌握新的词汇和表达法。 5、通过学习文本,感悟到音乐是人类通用的语言,及科技对音乐产生的重大影响。
