Passage 4
It was reported by the Jerusalem Post on December 30, 2019, the Israel Heritage Bureau announced(宣布) that Israeli archaeologists(考古学家) have discovered a hoard(贮藏) of seven gold coins. These coins, from early Islamic period, were discovered during excavations(挖掘) in the city of Yavne in central Israel, some of the coins have never been discovered in Israel. These gold coins go back to 1200 years.
The excavation project leader, Liat nadaf Ziff, said the coins were dug up in a field and they were found in a small pottery pot(陶罐). They were surprised when they saw the treasure there. The Graham family of Kansas did something very unusual last year. Mr and Mrs Graham did not go to work, and their children did not go to school.
